Worm's is the topic,the type that you have is a member of the glass worm family. The eggs of these worms are found in dried flake food.When your tank is running right and not over fed or starting to pollute you will have no problem with these worm's. They are not dangerous and some fish actually eat them.What I would do is get everything up and running new charcoal in the filter air and such then add some aquarium salt after a 40% water change.I'm sure after that the worm's will slowly die off.
